The Village of East Dundee is excited to announce the acquisition of the 7-acre former Haeger Pottery site located at 7 Maiden Lane, East Dundee. This acquisition marks a significant milestone for the village, paving the way for transformative opportunities to redevelop the site into an active residential area.

Village President Jeff Lynam expressed enthusiasm about the acquisition, stating, "This is a pivotal moment for East Dundee. The acquisition of the former Haeger Pottery site represents our commitment to improve our community. We envision this site as a vibrant residential redevelopment which will bring more residents to our community to enjoy easy access to downtown as well as adding new greenspace along the Fox River."

The acquisition of the former Haeger Pottery site culminates upon 2 years of effort to purchase the property after years of vacancy. By leveraging this unique opportunity, the Village aims to strengthen its position as a premier destination for residents and visitors alike.

The Village will release a request for proposals in the coming months to get the process of redevelopment started.
